HOW WE STARTED

Dr Karabo Juliet Tlale, a specialist obstetrician and gynaecologist at Netcare Waterfall City Hospital in Johannesburg. She decided to try something new by venturing into skincare. This is an addition to her usual day-to-day medical work. The digital launch of Sensual You took place on 28 May 2020, a special date as its is also her birthday.

The lovely, new skincare range, is 100% natural and mainly plant-based product. The Sensual You skincare range is made up of a body cream, firming gel, body scrum and body butter. Ingredients within these products include Capsicum and active Collagen which are stimulating factors and are plant based. Other ingredients are avocado oil, mineral oil, seed oil and cupana seed extract and many other natural healthy components.

While Dr Tlale loves her job as a specialist obstetrician and gynaecologist, she is excited to be venturing into the new realm of skincare products. "I'll never forget saving the lives of mothers and babies at almost impossible times", she says. "Each of the cases are special and bring out the upmost gratitude".

Always ready to pursue her passions, Karabo is also a founder of Planned Adulthood and the Confident Teen. These organisations that were founded in 2018 and they help prepare young and adolescent girls as they transition into the different stages of life. Such as into teenage years and then developing into young womanhood. Dr Tlale has always interested in growing and developing people into their best selves!
